Folds of beige and warm taupe sweep across a pale ground like fabric caught mid-movement. There is no hard edge anywhere in it, which is what makes it read as calm rather than busy.

Being straight with you, the depth is in the artwork rather than the surface. Drift is printed on canvas, so it is flat and smooth to the touch. The sense of folded silk comes from light and shadow captured in the image.

How Drift compares. Drift and Dune are the two neutral prints, and people do mix them up. Dune has the look of carved plaster, with defined ribbon forms and stronger shadow. Drift is softer and more fluid, closer to folded fabric, and reads as beige where Dune reads as cream. Strata is the high-contrast option if you want the opposite of both.

Can Drift hang portrait or landscape?

Both. The D loops are fitted so it goes either way up. Hang it landscape above a sofa or bed, or portrait on a tall narrow wall.

Can I buy Drift online?

Yes. Order online and we deliver across Australia. If you are in Sydney you can also collect from our showroom at 48 Chegwyn St, Botany NSW 2019, open Friday 2pm to 5pm and Saturday and Sunday 12pm to 4pm.

Do you deliver to Melbourne, Brisbane and Canberra?

Yes, we ship Australia-wide. In-stock orders usually arrive within 3 to 10 business days. Larger pieces are packed with corner protection for the trip.

What is the difference between Drift and Dune?

Both are neutral and both hang either way up. Dune is cream with defined ribbon folds and stronger shadow, so it has more presence. Drift is beige, softer and more fluid, closer to folded fabric. Pick Dune if you want the art noticed, Drift if you want it to sit back.

Is the surface actually textured, or is the texture printed?

The texture is printed. Drift is a canvas print, so the surface is flat and smooth. The depth you see is light and shadow in the artwork. We would rather say so up front than have you unwrap it expecting raised plaster.

What size should I choose?

Hanging landscape above a sofa or bed, aim for roughly two thirds of the furniture width. A 210cm sofa or a queen bed suits the 140 x 105cm piece, a 250cm to 280cm sofa or a king bed suits the 180 x 120cm. Hanging portrait, measure the wall instead and aim to fill about two thirds of its width. Leave 15cm to 25cm between the furniture and the bottom of the frame.

Will it suit a beige or Japandi room?

That is exactly what it is for. The palette is beige and warm taupe, so it adds depth through shadow rather than colour. It works well with linen, timber, rattan and warm white walls.
