Dune Sculptural Wall Art - Large Framed Canvas Print

Dune is a large framed canvas print from Sydney Mirrors, available in three sizes up to 210x120cm, made for a big living room, dining or hallway wall.

The artwork is a study in cream and shadow. Curling ribbon forms fold over one another, and the light and shade in the image give it the look of carved plaster.

One thing worth being straight about. The sculptural depth is in the artwork, not in the surface. Dune is printed on canvas, so it is smooth to the touch. You get the look of deep relief without the weight, the fragility or the cost of a cast piece.

The palette is warm off-white and soft taupe, which is why it sits easily in a neutral room. There is no colour to clash with your sofa, your rug or your timber.

Both. The D loops are fitted so it goes either way up. Hang it landscape above a sofa or sideboard, or portrait on a tall narrow wall or in an entry.

Can I buy Dune online?

Yes. Order it online and we deliver across Australia. If you are in Sydney you can also collect from our showroom at 48 Chegwyn St, Botany NSW 2019, open Friday 2pm to 5pm and Saturday and Sunday 12pm to 4pm.

Do you deliver to Melbourne, Brisbane and Canberra?

Yes, we ship Australia-wide. In-stock orders usually arrive within 3 to 10 business days. Larger pieces are packed with corner protection for the trip.

Is the surface actually textured, or is the texture printed?

The texture is printed. Dune is a canvas print, so the surface is flat and smooth to the touch. The depth you see is light and shadow captured in the artwork. We would rather tell you that up front than have you unwrap it expecting raised plaster.

What size should I choose?

Hanging landscape above a sofa, aim for roughly two thirds of the sofa width. A 210cm sofa suits the 140 x 105cm piece, a 250cm to 280cm sofa suits the 180 x 120cm. Go to 210 x 120cm for a wide feature wall or high ceilings. Hanging portrait, measure the wall instead and aim to fill about two thirds of its width. Leave 15cm to 25cm between the furniture and the bottom of the frame.

Does it come framed and ready to hang?

Yes. It ships in its frame with nothing to assemble. There is no separate framing cost and no waiting on a framer.

Will it suit a beige or neutral room?

That is what it is built for. The palette is warm off-white and taupe, so it adds depth through texture and shadow rather than through colour. It works well in Japandi, Scandi and warm minimalist interiors.
